Jeremy A. Cooney, Class of 2010
Jeremy Cooney is an attorney and the Vice
President of Development for the YMCA of Greater Rochester. Prior to joining
the New York State Bar, he worked for members of federal, state, and local
government and served as a development officer for Hobart and William Smith
Colleges. He is a member of the Board of
Directors for Delphi Drug & Alcohol Counseling, Episcopal SeniorLife
Communities, Hochstein School of Music & Dance, I Believe in Rochester, and
the Rochester Area Community Foundation. He chairs the statewide organization of “We Live NY,” after being
appointed to the group by former New York Governor David Paterson. In 2011, he was recognized by the Rochester Business Journal as one of
today’s 40 Under 40.
Hanok George, Class of 2012
Hanok George is an attorney at Littler Mendelson, P.C.,
practicing in the fields of labor and employment law. He is a member of the New York and
While at Albany Law School, Hanok served as an ex-officio
Student Trustee of the Albany Law School Board of Trustees and as the Lt.
Governor of the American Bar Association, Second Circuit, Law Student
Division. He also served as a member of
the Faculty Diversity Committee and the Ethics Committee of the Student Bar
Association. He was also a Senior Editor
on the Albany Government Law Review. Prior to law school, Hanok attended Siena College, where he earned his
B.A. in Political Science with a minor in English.
