Robert Axisa, Class of 2011

Robert has represented clients in Town Court, City Court, State Supreme Court, and at the Appellate Division, 3rd Department. While at Albany Law, he served on the Government Law Review Editorial Board and was a teacher’s assistant to Professor Timothy Lytton and and Professor Stephen Clark. He received a B.S. from the State University of New York College at Oneonta and currently serves on the school's Alumni Board of Directors.  Prior to attending Albany Law, he was a producer for WFAN 660AM in New York City. He is currently a staff attorney at Boies, Schiller & Flexner, LLP’s Albany office. Recently, he initiated and has helped lead the Bridging the Gap mentoring program with the Office of Alumni Affairs.

Emma Maceko, Class of 2012

While at Albany Law School, Emma was an executive board member of the Albany Government Law Review and a student editor for the New York State Bar Association’s New York Environmental Lawyer. Emma was also a contracts teaching assistant for Professor Seita during her second and third years of law school. 

Prior to law school, Emma earned her B.A. in political science, with a minor in economics, from Smith College. During her junior year she studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom, where she studied political science and history. Emma is currently the Weibe Fellow at the New York Senate Majority Counsel’s Office.

Peter McDaniel, Class of 2012  

While at Albany Law School, Peter was a joint J.D. / M.B.A.  student who accelerated his program and graduated within 3.5 years. He was president of the Tax Law Society, as well as treasurer of the Business Law Society, while clerking for Conway & Kirby, LLP. After graduation he remained with C&K, and in addition to his legal duties is in charge of marketing, SEO and business development.

Prior to law school, Peter was a specialist trader on the NYSE floor, where he worked for more than 10 years.

David Rozen, Class of 2010

While in law school, David was elected and served as the Second Circuit Governor of the American Bar Association’s Law Student Division (ABA-LSD).  In that capacity, he represented New York State's fifteen law schools (approximately 15,000 law students); and chaired the Law Student Divisions’ Legislative Advocacy (executing the ABA/LSD's legislative agenda) and By-Law Revision Committees. For his extraordinary service he was presented with the “Star of the Division Leadership Award” in 2009, and the “Gold Key” in 2010, the highest recognition bestowed by the ABA to law students.

Currently Legislative Counsel to New York State Senator Michael Gianaris (Deputy Leader, Senate Democratic Conference; Chair, NYS Senate Democratic Campaign Committee), David also provided political consulting/election law assistance for successful state Senate candidates Neil Breslin, Terry Gipson and Cecilia Tkaczyk. David was also a 2012 winner of Albany Knickerbocker Ledger’s "30 Under 30" Awards.
