Vonzell Jones, Class of 2009

Vonzell Jones received a B.S. in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before attending Albany Law School.  After his time at Albany, he served as the associate director of the New York State Science and Technology Law Center in Syracuse, N.Y.  There he developed intellectual property policies for the state that allowed the state to optimize the commercialization of technology. He also served as a member Albany Law School Board of Trustees as the last Recent Graduate Trustee. Vonzell has relocated to the Washington, D.C., area, where he has continued his practice in intellectual property, as well as other areas.

Joshua Boone, Class of 2010

Joshua Boone received a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Pease, War and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006 before receiving his J.D. at Albany Law School in 2010.  During his time at Albany, he served as the Executive Director of the Moot Court Board and as a Senior Editor for the Journal of Science and Technology.  After his time at Albany, he worked in regulatory compliance and due diligence as Staff Counsel for Maple Life Financial, Inc., a Bethesda, MD based asset origination company specializing in life settlements.  Currently, he works in Alexandria, VA for State Analysis, Inc. (d.b.a. StateScape) as an internal strategist, regulatory analyst and in-house counsel.
