Get Involved with Albany Law School

There are many ways for alumni to get involved with activities at Albany Law School.

Click here for a letter about Hurricane Sandy efforts from President & Dean Penelope (Penny) Andrews.

Every year hundreds of alumni mentor students, assist with career planning and admissions, and coach or judge Moot Court competitions. They also help plan Alumni Chapter networking events and reunions, and participate in the School's annual National Alumni Association awards.

Mentoring Initiatives

The National Alumni Association is involved in all aspects of student life including participating in career panels, mock interviews, mentoring, Moot Court, Law Clinic & Justice Center activities, and in admissions recruitment.

Alumni Initiative in Mentoring Program
Matches alumni mentors one-on-one with first-year students.

Bar Exam Mentoring Program
Matches alumni mentors one-on-one with third-year students studying for the Bar Exam. The Alumni Office, along with the Academic Success Program, sponsors speakers, alumni panels and on-site massage therapy to help make the process more manageable.
