Pursuing an LL.M. in Advanced Legal Studies affords students a great deal of
flexibility in choosing courses across the curriculum. In addition to the
opportunity to engage in a broad-based course of study, students also may devote
themselves to intensive research and writing projects.
Candidates in the Advanced Legal Studies program may choose to concentrate
their work in one area rather than pursuing a more generalized course of study.
Areas of specialization open to LL.M. candidates include business law, civil
litigation, environmental law, estate planning, family and elder law, and labor
and employment law.
