Christina Ryba is Special Projects Counsel for Presiding Justice Karen K. Peters of the Third Department.
Previously Ms. Ryba
was an associate with Nixon Peabody in the Labor & Employment practice
group, working in the firm’s Albany office. Prior to her work with Nixon
Peabody Ms. Ryba served as an assistant attorney general in the Litigation
Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General. At the
Attorney General’s Office she managed significant and voluminous litigation
through all phases including trials. Ms Ryba represented the State of New York,
its agencies, and its officers in both state and federal courts defending
claims of discrimination, violations of constitutional rights, Article 78s, and
other litigated matters arising out of state operations and legislation.
