This year's Chief Judge Lawrence Cooke Symposium, "Exceeding Federal Standards," will bring Justices from around the country to Albany Law School.
To be held Thursday, April 3, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the symposium will focus on state high courts nationwide that are developing independent standards to safeguard constitutional rights and liberties that the U.S. Supreme Court has left under-protected. The event is sponsored by the Albany Law Review.
