Violence Against Women Topic of Albany Law Symposium

Amnesty International at Albany Law School is hosting a symposium - "Violence Against Women: Locally, Nationally and Globally" - on Wednesday, April 4 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Panelists will address topics such as representing domestic violence victims, asylum issues for rape and domestic violence victims, and human trafficking in the United States sex industry.

Panelists include:

  • Dishpaul Dhuga, Empire Justice Center
  • Lori Adam, Human Rights First
  • Marcia Pappas, National Organization of Women (NOW)
