Emergence of State Constitutional Law Subject of Albany Law Symposium

The Albany Law Review of Albany Law School will host a public forum about the emergence of state constitutional law and the growing role that state high courts will play in the 21 st century on Friday, February 16 from 1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  The symposium is called "The Reemergence of State Constitutional Law and the State High Courts in the 21 st Century."

The event will also feature a tribute to New York's first female Court of Appeals judge and Chief Judge, Judith S. Kaye.

The symposium will feature a panel of chief justices and judges from state high courts all around the country, including:

Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson, Supreme Court of Wisconsin
Chief Justice Christine M. Durham, Supreme Court of Utah
Chief Justice James Hannah, Supreme Court of Arkansas
