Albany Law School, RPI Incubator 'Patenting for Entrepreneurs'

The Science and Technology Law Center (STLC) of Albany Law School and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Incubator Program will host a free workshop called "Patenting for Entrepreneurs" on Friday, September 28, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

A panel of experienced attorneys will explain the patent process, focus on real-life case studies and answer audience questions. The workshop will take place at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Heffner Alumni House in Troy.

Panelists include:

  • Annette I. Kahler, Esq., director, STLC of Albany Law School;
  • Arlen L. Olsen, founding partner, Schmeiser, Olsen & Watts, LLP;
  • John W. Boger, associate, Heslin Rothenberg Farley & Mesiti; and
  • Katherine M. Sheehan, former senior counsel, Philips Medical Systems MR, Inc.

The event is free and open to the public.​
