Albany Law School will delay opening until 11am due to the weather.
On June 13, Rochester-area alumni enjoyed an evening with Albany Law School, as they gathered to network and reminisce with each other and President and Dean Alicia Ouellette ’94. The event brought together members of the National Alumni Association Board, faculty, parents of students, and staff from the Office of Alumni Engagement.
Dean Ouellette welcomed the group of nearly 40 alumni and spoke about the great news coming out of Albany Law, from the work of the law school’s remarkable students and faculty, to significant accomplishments around career placement, enrollment, fundraising, and more.
Regionally based alumni gatherings are a part of the overall strategic plan to build a robust alumni engagement program for Albany Law School. The Director of Alumni Engagement, Geoff Seber, and members of the Institutional Advancement team also took part in the gathering. They encouraged alumni to stay connected and involved as the law school grows a Regional Alumni Network throughout the country.

“It was a pleasure to meet and engage with the passionate alumni in Rochester,” Seber said. “Thanks to their input, we have a better understanding of the importance of consistently creating these opportunities to connect alumni. Rochester is an important area for Albany Law School; we were so pleased to have this event and look forward to growing the programming.”
The Regional Alumni Network aims to connect alumni, provide career and networking opportunities, and advocate for the law school in a member’s hometown or region—all guided by volunteers of the Regional Alumni Network Chapter Committee. For more information, visit the Regional Alumni Network page at
