Panel to Review New Electric Facility Siting Process

The educational seminar “The New Article 10: Siting Process for Electric Generating Facilities” will provide an overview of the new law governing the siting of electric generating facilities in New York state, which now applies to facilities with a capacity of 25 MW or more and entails a new application process.

The seminar, part of Albany Law School Government Law Center’s work with NYSERDA, is intended to educate attendees about the new Article 10 siting process, including how the process applies to smaller wind energy projects that fall within the 25 MW threshold.
