Practicing attorneys, planners, academics and scholars will participate in a series of panels for the event "Municipal Law and Planning: A Local Perspective on Hydrofracking" at Albany Law School from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012.
The panels will be held in the Dean Alexander Moot Courtroom. Topics will include:
State regulation of high volume hydraulic fracturing
Water withdrawal concerns
Preemption and home rule litigation
Effective land use controls
Municipal ethics
Opportunities for training
