The Class of 2012 wrapped up three years of fundraising with great success, directing the second-largest class gift on record, $18,500, to scholarships for future Albany Law students.

Class president Natalie Bernardi announced the generous Legacy Fund Gift at Commencement, where she graduated alongside 230 of her classmates at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on May 11.

Each year the graduating class presents a gift to the law school. Last year's gift was directed to the Loan Repayment Assistance Program, to help alleviate the financial burden of student loans on graduates pursuing public interest careers.
