GLC to Hold 12th Annual Saratoga Institute on Racing and Gaming Law

Albany Law School’s Government Law Center will present its 12th annual Saratoga Institute, a program dedicated to exploring the legal and public policy implications of racing and gaming in New York state and across the country, on Tuesday, Aug. 14, and Wednesday, Aug. 15, at The Gideon Putnam Hotel & Resort in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Speakers will include racing and gaming luminaries from around the country. Topics will include:

Siting of casinos in New York
Online gaming in New York
New York Task Force on Retired Race Horses Report
Safety on the race track
How to recognize inhumane treatment of horses
NYRA’s new regulatory framework
