The Government Law Center ( GLC) of Albany Law School today announced the schedule for the 2012 Warren M. Anderson Legislative Seminar Series, which will open Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. with a panel on the implications of hydrofracking on New York state’s energy needs, environmental concerns and economic development goals.
Each program in the series features experts who will address legal and policy aspects of major issues pending before the New York State Legislature. The 2012 schedule will be:
The seminars will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the Assembly Parlor on the third floor of the New York State Capitol. There is no charge to attend the program, but seating is limited. Complimentary CLE credit is available for attendees. To register, please call 518-445-3287.
The annual breakfast series is named in honor of former Senate Majority Leader Warren M. Anderson ’40, a distinguished alumnus of Albany Law School and an active member of the GLC Advisory Board who served in the New York State Senate for 35 years.
