Judges and Attorneys to Offer Courtroom Tips for New Attorneys

Albany Law School will host judges and attorneys for "Tips for New Attorneys on Courtroom Conduct: A View from the Bench and Bar," a panel discussion that will cover courtroom do's and don'ts for new attorneys, as well as proven tactics that can be implemented by new attorneys.

Panel participants include:

  • Magistrate Judge Randolph Treece '76 - Northern District of New York
  • Justice Kimberly O'Connor '94 - Supreme Court, Albany County
  • Justice Richard Aulisi '69 - Supreme Court, Fulton County
  • Karen Butler '95 - Partner, Thuillez, Ford, Gold, Butler & Young
  • Brian Breedlove - Partner, Pennock, Breedlove & Noll
  • Peter Moschetti '84 - Partner, Anderson, Moschetti & Taffany

Refreshments will be served during and after the presentation. After the formal panel discussion, there will be a 15 to 30 minute question and answer session, followed by a networking period for judges, attorneys and law students.

The program, offered by the Trial Lawyers Section (3rd and 4th Judicial Districts) of the New York State Bar Association, will take place on Feb. 9, 2011, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the East Wing Classroom at Albany Law School.
