Judicial Nominations of Siegel '66, Bruening '89 Approved by Senate

The New York State Senate recently approved the nominations of Hon. Norman Siegel '66 as a Justice of the Supreme Court of the Fourth Judicial District and Hon. Glen Bruening '89 as a Judge for the Court of Claims.

Judge Siegel has served in the State Court of Claims since June 2000 and has more than 30 years of legal experience as a practicing attorney with cases in City, Supreme and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.

Judge Bruening most recently served as Assistant Counsel for the Governor's Office, one of three times he has worked in that office. He has also served as general counsel for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and as assistant director of Albany Law School's Government Law Center.
