Judge Wesley to Deliver Keynote at 159th Commencement

Albany Law School recently announced that the Honorable Richard Wesley, Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, will deliver the keynote address at the school's 159th commencement ceremony.

Judge Wesley was appointed to the federal court in 2003, after serving as an Associate Judge of the New York Court of Appeals, New York's highest court, since 1997. His judicial career began with his election to the New York State Supreme Court in 1986, and he served as a trial judge on the New York State Supreme Court from 1987 until 1994, when he was promoted to the Appellate Division.

More than 200 students are expected to receive their law degrees at the commencement ceremony, which will take place at 11 a.m. on May 14 in the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
