Fiscal Crisis Impact on Local Governments at Anderson Seminar

The next installment of the 2009 Warren M. Anderson Legislative Breakfast Seminar Series, sponsored by Albany Law School's Government Law Center, will feature Kenneth W. Bond, Esq. of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P. and Paul D. Moore, former Project Director of the Government Law Center's  Shared Municipal Services Incentives Program Project. The speakers will focus their remarks on current issues directly affecting the finances of local government in New York State.

Honorary co-hosts for the breakfast series are Senator Malcolm H. Smith, Senator Dean G. Skelos, Assemblyman Sheldon Silver, and Assemblyman James Tedisco.  The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, in the Assembly Parlor Room on the 3rd Floor of the New York State Capitol Building.

The breakfast seminar series is named in honor of former Senate Majority Leader Warren M. Anderson, a distinguished graduate of Albany Law School. Held monthly from February through May, each program features experts who address legal and policy aspects of major issues pending before the New York State Legislature. Complimentary Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits are available for attorneys who attend.
