Albany Law School is hosting a "Dance for Life" dance-a-thon on Saturday, February 24, to raise money for Shine on Sierra Leone, an organization dedicated to funding programs that educate, feed, clothe and medically care for children in Sierra Leone (West Africa).

The dance-a-thon is being presented by   A.P.H.R.I.C.A. (Acknowledging, Providing, Helping Raising and Investing in the Children of Africa), a fundraising organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the children of Africa.  A.P.H.R.I.C.A. was founded by two Albany Law School students, Jennifer Filomeno and Pearline Guillaume.

The dance-a-thon will held at the Law School's gymnasium. Admission is free, but dancers are needed. All participants must find sponsors to pledge a dollar amount for each hour that they dance. Registration starts at 11 a.m. and dancing at noon.
