The Health Law Clinic of The Albany Law Clinic & Justice Center presented a free law conference on Thursday, June 22, for the Cancer and HIV/AIDS affected communities.

"Empowerment: Strength Through Community" was held at Albany Law School, 80 New Scotland Avenue, and included workshops such as:

  • Prescription Drug Issues
  • Home Health Care
  • Leaving & Returning to Work
  • Medicaid Eligibility
  • Social Security & Disability Eligibility
  • Debt & Bankruptcy: What is Legal & Fair?
  • Coping with Impending Loss
