GOLD Alumni Group

Alumni who graduated in the last 10 years are members of the Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) program. Led by a group of recent graduates and the Office of Alumni Affairs, GOLD engages recent graduates by providing opportunities for networking, professional support, socializing and volunteer efforts. Today’s GOLD alumni continue Albany Law School’s rich tradition of alumni involvement and support.

We recognize that today’s graduates face unprecedented challenges in the job market. Building a strong network for all alumni is critical to career success, and as a recent graduate, your contribution of time and knowledge to this effort is invaluable. GOLD is an opportunity for you to be involved, give back and get the support and tools you need to advance in your profession. GOLD will focus on the following areas of interest to recent graduates:

1. “Bridging the Gap,” a mentoring program that matches 3Ls with a recent graduate to mentor them between graduation through their first year of employment

  1. 2. Connecting recently relocated alumni with other graduates in the area
  2. 3. A resume “bank” that offers the opportunity to have resumes edited one-on-one by peers
  3. 4. Regional networking and social events

To stay up to date on GOLD activities and volunteer opportunities, please visit us on Facebook or LinkedIn for current news and information on how to get involved. If you are interested in getting involved with GOLD in your area or have questions, please contact the Office of Alumni Affairs at alumni@albanylaw.edu, or call 518-445-3220.
