We recognize that today’s graduates face unprecedented challenges in the job market. Building a strong network for all alumni is critical to career success, and as a recent graduate, your contribution of time and knowledge to this effort is invaluable. GOLD is an opportunity for you to be involved, give back and get the support and tools you need to advance in your profession. GOLD will focus on the following areas of interest to recent graduates:
1. “Bridging the Gap,”
a mentoring program that matches 3Ls with a recent graduate to mentor
them between graduation through their first year of employment
To stay up to date on GOLD activities and volunteer opportunities, please visit us on Facebook or LinkedIn for current news and information on how to get involved. If you are interested in getting involved with GOLD in your area or have questions, please contact the Office of Alumni Affairs at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 518-445-3220.
GOLD has designated committee chairs for each of the major chapter areas: Capital Region, Rochester/Buffalo, Syracuse/Utica, New York City, Binghamton and Washington, D.C.
The chapter chairs will act as a point of contact for the GOLD members in their chapter area, as well as head the planning of networking and social events.
